Content and Social Media Lead

About Replanted Ministry

Replanted Ministry is a Christ-centered nonprofit that exists to provide hope, healing, and support for foster and adoptive families and those caring for vulnerable children. Through support groups, an annual national conference, and thoughtfully curated resources, we empower local leaders and churches to build lasting community for families who often feel isolated in their parenting journey.

Role Overview

We're looking for a creative and organized contractor to lead content and social media for Replanted Ministry. In this role, you'll manage strategy, design, and execution across our digital platforms. This role will include content creation (e.g. posts, stories, and reels) and increasing community engagement across communication platforms.

The ideal candidate will blend content strategy, copywriting, design, and social-first storytelling to craft narratives that meet our audience where they are. You'll take what matters most to the families we serve and turn it into meaningful content. Working closely with our team, you'll build content calendars, messaging frameworks, influential posts, and campaigns that inspire engagement and advance Replanted's mission.

What You Do
  • Manage Instagram and Facebook (3–5 posts/week, daily engagement).
  • Engage, interact, and moderate with followers to foster community and brand loyalty.
  • Write and send emails via NEON CRM (devotionals, campaigns, donor updates)
  • Create compelling copy and designs for social content using Canva (graphics, reels, carousels, etc.). 
  • Ensure all communications align with our brand voice.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns for annual conferences and group registrations.
  • Track performance and adjust strategy to meet KPI targets set by the AVP Operations.
  • Assist in developing strategies to boost overall brand reach and engagement. 
  • Assist in building and deploying additional digital marketing activities that include: search, email, and website planning and execution.
You're a Good Fit If
  • You're aligned with Replanted's Christian Mission and Values (See Statement of Faith below) with a heart for supporting foster and adoptive children and families.
  • You have proven experience in social media & content creation, with other digital marketing a plus.
  • You have social design experience using Canva or other platforms.
  • You can write compelling, empathetic copy (copywriting experience required).
  • You're reliable, detail-oriented, and can work independently.
  • You're willing to learn new tools (NEON CRM, social scheduling)
  • Bonus: 
    • Connection to foster/adoption community
    • Proficiency with Canva for graphic design and video editing
    • Digital marketing experience (META Ads, Google Ads, CRM)
    • Ability to convert data into insights, and strategy
What Success Looks Like
  • Manage and execute the social content calendar, achieving consistency & effective mix of content.
  • Drive increased engagement and audience growth in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and/or X.
  • Increase conference attendance, group registrations, and ministry donations.
  • Capture data and provide regular reporting on KPI.
Time Commitment
  • ~10 hours/week 
  • Flexible schedule, but daily social engagement required.
Compensation
  • Hourly, up to $25/ hour
  • Year End Incentives for achieving Growth Targets
